There will be some things we don't have enough land to grow or are not readily grown here..
My plan is to hook up with ome organic farmers I heard of in Ohio and go there once or twice a year to get flour, oats,a variety of dried beans -and to order 50 lbs bags of wild , white and brown rice .
We will just buy enough white and brown sugar to cover us for 2 or 3 years and seal that up air tight in mylar bags.
We have our own honey and molasses and will grow stevia .
We will buy a large quantity of salt -in rock form as well as in "morton" boxs!
We will have to learn to see if we can grown and make what we need for beer-- for liquor and wine we will have fruit trees and grape vines ..maybe make vodka from potatoes??- we will see huh?!
I don't know about wheat and oats- we may need to acquire some larger fields
Olive oil we will have to purchase of course-we have butter and lard..I bet our arteries will love that-lol...
I plan to stock up on at last 3 years of canned foods -and gourmet items -herbs,vinegars,olives and pickles-oils, canned fishes and crab-items not easily grown or imports as chef are important to have on hand...
CHOCOLATE-oh my goodness.. we gotta think chocolate BIG time- yep... we can't raise everything and of course even in a SHTF scenario - commerce will rise up- it just may be a tad scanty in the"ooohhh -this is what I want to eat" department for abit!!-lol!!!
OK so we will talk more later!! Love n light!

Creating: How I spend my time on the Homestead
I titled this Creating- because right now we are in that process...I write this now to help me sort out how to spend my time as well as to teach YOU how to manifest with great POWER!
The reality of now is- we have a 1/2 acre garden in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. What I am creating using shamanic manifestation is buying the homestead 170 acres we found and getting into that no later than Sept of this Year...
Luckily my husband is a builder developer and has the know how of finding funding for a project like this-my interest is more in the 30 acre CSA Homestead-his is in his 100 acre eco-development and 40 acre Gaia Village .
It weaves together of course- each supporting the other. But my focus of intent is on the homestead part.
I am very serious about food freedom ,holistically healthy living and being 90% self sufficient.
I grew up on a self sufficient, back to the land, organic homestead-it was around 50 acres. So this sort of lifestyle is familiar to me-I have seen the hard work, early hours, joys and the tragedies of farm life. You see life and death on a daily basis.
In my morning meditations I allow my mind to drift to the near fiuture living on the farm.
Today I am going to write about how I spend my time in that near future timeline!
6 am up and dressed a quick cup of coffee and I am out the door to feed and water the livestock and to gather eggs and to do the milking.I drive my little garden cart loaded with 6 - 5 gallon buckets of water a basket and the milk buckets w lids- good work out for this formerly fat lady!
My 1st stop is to visit the horses. We have 4 on land -in the field with them is our milk cow and our 2 beef cows. I give the horses some fresh hay ,oats and sweet feed -fill up their water -my son and his GF tend to the horses during the day but early morning I always make sure they have a little something.
I feed the beef cows some hay- of course they have a full field of grasses
I lead out our Jersey milk cow into the shed and feed her while I milk her -her sweet creamy milk makes the best butter, yoghurt, buttermilk, cheeses and of course cream, milk and yum-icecream! She provides enough for Charlie and I -Jakes household and our gardener/housekeeper couple .I milk her morning and evening .
My next stop is to feed and water the hens and gather eggs -I let the hens out for the day-they are great debuggers in the organic garden next to the animal lot..I have an acre here for my animals-I don't believe in having them contained in tiny spaces -next move over to feed and water the rabbits-I open the door to let them out into their little lot to move around and enjoy the day-I put them up at night on account of animals that may bother them-and their lot is covered to keep the hawks from getting them...
Next I move to slop the hogs and fill their water trough- I take some time with each of the animls wishing them a good morning -I take a stick and scratch the happy piggies backs-they love that....
I then move over to the clowns pen- in other words the milking goats- what funny imps they are! Really being handled often and used to people they are alot like dogs. I feed and water them-milk the nanny goats - we have 2 others we are raising for meat. The goats milk is great for people with allergies and the cheese is gourmet! I like using their milk in handcrafted soaps and lotions as well!
I let the goats out and let them follow me and my cart back to the house . I let them scamper around and play awhile then hook them up to leads in the shade to eat grass.
They along with my dogs are my companions outside when I paint! Lots of times I just let the goats loose when I am painting-they tend to stay wherever I am-and they are incredibly cute playing and running and jumping on things- as long as they don't eat my flowers and stay off of Charlies truck and my new green landrover we are OK!! Watch out for the shaman lady and her cart-cause there may be some nanny goats riding along and dogs following! Of course old man Puffer dog is right by my side!
Once inside-I need to strain the milk through several layers of cheese clothe and put it in the fridge to cool so the cream will seperate. I divide out the eggs- we give each of our 3 households 4 eggs a day and we sell the extras at our CSA pick up days as extras.Having about 30 healthy fat hens we get - about 200 eggs a week- we only use about 80 ish so we have a good 10 dozen to sell weekly at 5 bucks a dozen-this keeps the expense of having chickens for us at zero!
We have another coop our gardener tends to-these are the pullets for meat-we will slaughter a few times a year- it only takes a day with the outdoors chicken processors (as seen in Joel Saladins Polyface Farms Videos) we have-our 3 families need approx 300 between us for the year -and we have extra for our CSA members at an extra expense so we have around 400 at a time- doing the slaughter 3 or 4 times yearly with our chicken processing system. They come in as chicks and in a few months are ready for slaughter. There is nothing like organic chicken!
So now after all that work I need a quick shower and then it is time for breakfast- sorry to say I am a little lazy about making biscuits so I pop 4 frozen ones into the oven- or make some of my sour dough into toast or french toast-long with a pan of our own home cured bacon ,ham or sausage -when we have biscuits Jake has to have gravy-- I fry 6 eggs ,make some grits and slice some tomato and melon-most all from our own little farm!
Charlie and Jake comes home about 9 am for a bite of breakfast with me-their day started even before mine on the construction site! It is a time for us to have a biz meeting/ breakfast to make sure we are all onboard for whatever needs done on the farming side.
After a nice leisurely breaksfast I spend the next 1/2 hour or so processing the milks from the day before-skimming them - seperating the cream from the milk -weekly I do the churning of butter and start different cheeses .Funny how all cheeses start out as milk huh? It is simply the process -I am learning all the time about cheese making.I make some fresco cheeses for use in Mexican Cooking- making cream cheese is easy- I also make cheddar and have loved learning about mozarella making-of course that is more fun to work in a group when it is time to massage the mozarella!
A few times a year I make balms, salves ,soaps and creams for bathing, softening the skin and for healing .I use goats milk quite often in these- we keep what we need for our families here and sell the rest to the CSA -if any are left we sell at the Healing Center.
After that I go out to the garden and pick whatever we need for the day (except corn-that is best picked and cooked within 15 minutes-we will get that later! ) I lay out whatever meat we will have that day in the fridge the night before.
Often I make sour dough bread- at least 3 tmes a week-I bake enough to share with the FT residents here on the farm.
Now I have to think about what may need picking and what season we are in- if we are jam or jelly making or doing other canning , dehydration or pickling - during garden season-we usually process as a group twice or 3 times a week - and generally that is an evening thing over at the community canning kitchen. Again 1st we lay aside all we need for a year or 2 -then we sell any extras-.
Once my general daily farm work is done-11 ish-I am able to paint Wed -Fri till 2 -
Monday and Tuesday I devote to working the farm -mainly harvesting for processing. I love picking berries and beans and doing all the work needed to properly preserve the abundance we are gifted!
Saturdays are a fun, exciting and exhaustng day on the Farm! Saturdays everyone is on hand for the CSA day bright and early we like to pick the day of-not the day before- we want is fresh as dew - we have CSA pickup and a FREE catered picnic Noon to 2 pm CSA members can swim and fish up till 8 or 9 pm that day...we will have our caterer grill organic hamburgers and hot dogs around 6 ish - melon season we cut up a few cold melons and often have homemade icecream going! Of course-honoring our vegan and veg friends we also have a seperate grill for veggie burgers!
We have a large table of special items for sale seperate from the CSA box of fruits and veggies!
It is a fun day with swimming and fishing at the lake- music and great food!
Lots of us with horses go on a long trail ride that day too-that is where you will find this chicky!!
During bad weather we meet in the group diningroom- pretty days of course are on the lake!
Wed to Fri hubby and I eat supper around 5:00 as I have work those 3 evenings at 7...I leave the house at 6 and believe it or not I ride my horse to work on any nice days that I can-
Outside of farm work and artwork-Wed to Fri at 7 I do my group trace medium healings and Sundays at 11 am I conduct Ecumenical Spiritualist services-basically a meditation for peace, channeling messages from higher dimensions and singing/vibrational healing. We have apporx 75 to 125 regular attendees on Sunday.
Fridays at 4 ones who are in sscheduled thrugh he Healing Center come down to aura cleanse in the lake-they are brought over by bus and just go in for a quick dip- up to 40 or 50 folks come weekly - I am not involved with that- the Healing Center personnel cover that-itis a special charge for visiting the Crystal Healing Lake.and we only do this once a week with an appointment .. the start of that lake -is a spring in a Faerie wonder land- and the lake has been gridded with crystals, shamanically charged for healing waters- as well as 4 statues of the archangels positioned around in the Sacred Directions!
The attendees then have time to go back to the center-get a bite to eat then be ready for the trance medium healing to start at 7
Sunday afternoons are a private family time on the place- sometimes we have a few friends over-we ride horses-play volleyball-fish ,swim and we always cook steaks- yeah baby- Jake gets to be the master steak chef of course! !We have fresh from the garden MOST everything... -shish kabobs of mushrooms, peppers and onions - fresh corn w our REAL homemeade butter-,salad and homemade rolls and yum.... icecream!
So you see I spend my time doing what I love- it is an incredibly joyful and abundant life!
Now as you read this remember-I am in the creation phase doing shamanic manifestation...this will be my life daily VERY soon!
Love n Light!

Seeing into the Future of Our Homestead
I am a Shaman and work with a Spirit Council.
Many times in writing you will find I channel my "higher" self.
Years ago I had a death experience and return to life.My Near Death Experience opened me up to many psychic and healing gifts as well as having an interaction with the Archangels-in particular Gabrielle and Sandalphon!
I work with the Angelic Fae Kingdom as well- they are interested in our lives, health ,happiness and in healing of the Earth systems-they are more connected to the Divine Mother and with Gaia but of course being in the angellic heirarchy they worship ONLY Creator-the ALL . As do I..!
I have seen the true nature or rather "my interpretation"of the Divine Mind-and it is ALL LOVE.
There is no division between us- seperation is an illusion. All love does not even NEED to be worshipped- religion is a manmade beast of burden in many ways.. and yet it serves many to help aid them in experiencing Divinity!
We are all-each and every one connected to Source energy-we all have a council of loving spirits sent to aid us-it is in the stillness and the Inner silence we hear for OURSELVES-we can all hear the words of spirit and the whispers of the Angels.
Please be aware of this- I certainly don't mean to sound arrogant- I am just in a state of remembrance .I have connected to my own divine nature and higher dimensional origin. I am aware I have super abundant power -because when one is in a forgetful state as to their power-they are NOT powerful
I MUST be and am powerful-because of the work I am here to do- period.I cannot apologize for or in any way impede this power-for in a state of apology- shame really- it BLOCKS the energy... No NO NO- that would not serve humanity as I am here to do...so here is no false modesty-but an understanding of my own divine nature.
Shame based folks are the quickest to criticize ones who own their abilities. Never listen to naysayers-it is TRUE.. can't NEVER could.. move on-move on by...surround yourself with ones who DO see possibilities and work toward creating a better space! See how you FLOURISH in that energy set!
So-for me it does NOT matter what religion one comes from- as long as I am approached with a loving heart and an open mind- and never preached to-all is well! This holds true for the religion of science as well!
Allowing-and BE-ing in a state of peace and high vibration I rise above the limits imposed by divisions...and honestly at times removing-forcefully / surgically -negative based, drama addicted, controlling or energy thieves from my life..I rise above such ones .knowing ALL Souls are safe and on a jurney back to Oneness-we are all just on different places on that same road...however I must maintain a connection to powerful manifestors in a high vibration of love energy ... as nothing is allowed to impede the creation of this community -New Earth Colony.
For in these times of Great Earth Shift- we must create likeminded Oneness based-spiritual community. To teach the people an ascended way of BE-ing! For it a time of either powerful and swift ASCENSION - or a fall into descended energy for many...rmembering ultimately all souls are safe and NONE are ever lost completely-some have chosen a more painfilled path-others have chosen the path of joy manifest.
I choose the path of JOY-LOVE and SERVICE to the ALL and to humanities ascension.
This morning my council took me up into a vision of the near future as refers to our holistic community and homestead project.
We have found our land- we are working out the details of funding now- benefactors welcome! You KNOW who you are because we CREATED this before we incarnated!
I will divide the project into 4 sections. This whole project began as a vision and is now here-in 3rd dimension on a space even better than I had ever dreamed of-literal paradise manifest an Enchanted Homestead and Healing Land- the water-the fae- all the elements and angels-it is a miracle healing space!
I tried to do this in the city- blocked every step- now I own and have a complete knowing-I was CREATING all the set backs of course as difficult lessons needed-now I know why-it was always meant to be here-in this place.
As any Shaman-I am a Shaman-where I am IS the Vortex. It is ever so much easier to manifest in an already positive energy space than trying to turn a negative energy hole into something beneficial. A hard lesson-my hard head had to learn!
So-outside of the energy of Pittsburgh-but only about 10 miles - we have the space- the Healing Waters are awake now- the Great Shaman has returned.
This place out in the country is grounding and creatively inspiring for me-lots of love has been poured in for years-it has been lovingly maintained and now has waited for it's next caretake-ME!!
part 1
100 acres is 1/2 acre lots with holistically healthy, off grid/eco-friendly /self sufficient homes -that is my husbands building project . There will be some "hobbit houses" -many structures will have a an out of time and space feel-faerie tale homes- stone homes and wood and adobe and of all and ONLY truly natural materials that enhance the life force and vital life energy!
My hope is that many financially abundant artists, musicians, healers, craftspeople will live here- and it may be a 2nd home for wealthy folks- as long as ones are loving and inclusive!
It has a seperate entrance than our homestead but is connected internally with a nice gravel road. There will be many park areas- horseback and walking trails and the yards will be planted as edible landscapes.
Our goal here is complete food independence and holistically healthy systems built in to the homes and land...
part 2
CSA Community Supported Agriculture- we will be seperating 30 acres off for the Three Rivers Tribe Non Profit. Some of the tribe members may choose to live in small off grid cabins on the property-ones willing to work the garden as a rent exchange. Likely we will build 5 of these -4 for our summer seasonal PT helpers /volunteers -who will get room and board and a cool place to stay for the Summer! - 1 for a permanent FT gardener and housekeeper couple-they will receive their room and board plus a fair wage and we are looking for someone who will stay for many years!
Owners of the homes built in my husbands development get a free 1 year membership including a weekly -come get your fruits and veggies pick up w community picnic /cookout and time at the Homestead Lake -either fishing, boating or swimming
Thereafter membership to the CSA will be approx 800 a year -we will have a large greenhouse for year round produce and be hosting the weekly community connection "party" .Expect whomevers B-Day or anniversary is that week to be honored!
We intend to plant a large orchard, vineyard and berry patch - a large corn ,beans and squash (Three Sisters Garden) to raise cane-lol- for molasses and to have several honey bee hives.
We will be building a professional catering kitchen, large community dining room and group canning space.
We plan to have lots of picnics and also provide Friday lunch for all workers on property-including my husbands construction crews.
There will be other optional items available at the pick up day for an additional charge- as they are available seasonally and limited in amounts -- including molasses, baked goods and cheeses ,home canned jams and jellies and preserves, medicinal and culinary herbs, honey, wildcrafted items such as morel mushrooms and black walnuts-homemade soaps and candles, tinctures and healing salves ,herb infused oils, goat cheese ,homemade jerky, butter and organic eggs ,organic meats and raw milk (thus the need for the CSA's non profit to be designated an Ecumenical Spiritualist Group /Earth Honoring Religion -to have religious freedom for consumption of raw milk and locally grown bio-dynamic foods..FOOD FREEDOM is an amazing way to promote peaceful co existae! - This is vital to me- WE ARE ONE -our body is a temple and to be treated as such!
I will have as well my personal family homestead area - we do eat meat (very little and organic only-moving into only free range and humanely slaughtered-these animals deserve to be cared for and living happily for what they give us...modern food production and animal slaughter is indecent-wrong on too many levels-it is EVIL and mUST cease!) ...so we will be raising a few heritage/heirloom piggies, we will be raising milk and meat goats and sheep , rabbits , chickens ,stocking the lake w bass and catfish -building a small seperate tilapia pond . We are Cheroke heritage so any animals slaughtered will be done in a Sacred Manner -honoring the life force of the one feeding the Village.
My son will be hunting deer . He makes the best jerky ever!
3) Crystal Healing Center
I am a shamanic trance medium spiritual healer and do large group energy healing events. I also create art used for meditation, spiritual awakening, healing and charged for manifestation for the art purchaser .
I will have a healing and spiritual retreat center where ones can go for holitic living aid every day of the week from 7 am to 11 pm....for my work ones can gather 3 days a week for these healings- likely Wed,Thurs and Fri from 3to 6 pm- my events will be on a pay what feels fair /tax deductible donation basis-all other events will be according to the individual practitioner or teachers wishes...
Mine is a ministry . For my type of healing-I recommend ones come for 2 to 4 weeks in a row to each of the 3 days-that they spend quiet time meditating. We will have a few B&B's on property for ones visiting from far away can stay at-making this a sort of healing vacation! Quietly walking the many trails, tending the garden, eating the simple homemade foods infused with Reiki and healing energy-for even my chefs will be attuned to Universal Healing Energy!
I will allow ones coming for healing at the Center to visit my homestead and aura cleanse in the healing waters of the lake 1 day a week- this is through an appointment only. I say that because I will be painting those waters almost daily- and in a retreat myself!
The large group space can be rented out through the times not used for weddings, classes, concerts and seminars-it will hold 300 people minimum.
In this building we will also have a conscious cafe, a New Age bookstore and crystal shoppe, an art gallery ,a homeopathic dr office and a yoga center- we will have a rooftop garden/greenhouse and dead sea salt soaking bathe and naturist sunbathing area for holistic healing sun bathing (this is onlly a 20 minute 3 times a week sun soak)we will also have a shamans cave /crystal healing room deep in the sub basement area...
On Sundays the space can be used for Ecumenical Spiritualist Services and mid week we will have channeled message circlesa .The focus is on direct spirit communication and Oneness. Letting each person decide for themselves what works for THEM as far as their connection to the Divine. Each person honoring the many millions of ways one can connect -that is it a PERSONAL path.
4) Gaia Village- This will include the building of a very special place- abit like Lily Dale- as there will be an entrance fee and it is an ecumenical spiritualists village-around the edges of a 9 acre field at the tip top of a small mtn-- we will be building a little eco-tourist destination. Also a space for residents of the Community to shoppe and a place for local artisans to sell their wares!
Think a charming English rural village - on the entry level will be shoppes- above the shoppes will be lovely and charming rental rooms and small apts.-either for the shoppe keeper or for visitors to stay in.. or both!
The shoppes will be made of stone and likely heated with wood-
We will have seasonal themes and many festivals celebrating the Holy Days/Holidays -in a way that honors the Earth, the People in this Space and the connection to spirit...
We will not allow any items that aren't hand done and local. Only NATURAL items- no manmade chemicals ...if it can't be handmade it doesn't belong!

A real old fashioned deli ,icecream and candy store!
and old time Irish Pub w music and dancing!
We plan to have an old fashioned county fair set up w a few rides and a midway for games- to have a little steam train to bring ones in and out of the Village.
We won't allow cars or trucks onsite except after hours deliveries.
We will have a farmers market and street fair each weekend - with music and dancing always!
Hayrides and horse drawn carriage rides to visit the ancient oak tree down the lane into the enchanted woods we go...
We will also have daily childrens tours -Faerie Finding Walkabouts-teaching children about nature, ecology and being good Earthkeepers!
Our intention is also have these local craftspeople to teach classes in these things to-and to have supplies and finished goods for sale!
So you can see -this is a big project- we need to magnetize the very best and most amazing donators and benefactors, home owners, holistic business folks-local crafters and gardeners EVER! I want to see amazing people from ALL over the Globe move here! I want them to thrive-to be happier than they ever imagined- I want us to come together in a peaceful community -Earth Honoring and Healthy- EVERY WAY possible!

General Merchantile
Candlemakers Shoppe, Blacksmiths Shoppe,Seamstrist and Handcrafted Clothing Shoppe
Leather Shoppe ,Shoe Shoppe,Wool Shoppe
Handcrafted furniture ,jewelry and decorating items.
Herb Shoppe/Apothacary
A real old fashioned deli ,icecream and candy store!
and old time Irish Pub w music and dancing!

Homesteading Chronicles Part I
I am going to use this blog as a way to share the joys ,triumphs and set backs of our move into homesteading.
I am a Medicine woman so I will share the metaphysical side of this maniestation as well as the practical day to day life of acquirig then living on a self sufficient, eco friendly, eventually off grid homestead!
Besides the land being for raising food-I am a healer and the land itself is very healing-my method of healing is changing from a hands on approach to letting the land and spirits of nature do the healing-all I have to do is open Sacred Space and drum and sing..which is what I prefer!
Living this wasy is not new to me at all...
I grew up on a back to the land homestead.
The difference is I was a teenager then and was resistant in some ways-especially no TV- only going into town once a week and very rarely even going to a restaurant.I eventually adapted -loved to ride my horse, run in the woods, sew and play cards and board games ,clean out the many springs, write poetry and read, read, read...
Everything we ate was home made-homecanned and organic meat we raised.
My mother made butter and cheese-we had chickens for eggs and meat.
We had pigs, beef cows, honey bees -lots of fruit trees and berry bushes .
We grew a huge kitchen garden -then we had corn fields, sorghum cane field, hay fields - tobacco and another canning garden up on top of the Hill (the knobs of KY-your house is down low and main farm is up ontop of the ridge)
My dad hunted rabbits, he fished.I don't recall him shooting any deer.
We had nut trees on the property
We wild crafted morel mushrooms, picked blackberries and poke ..and other things I will share more later..
We sewed our clothes and blankets and curtains...
I did not have as high an appreciation for that as I do now.
So let me start with this.
My husband and I have found the perfect place for us.
It has 170 acres-30 we are settings aside to homestead.
140 acres my hubby is going to build homes on-he is building holistically healthy , off grid ,w/ 1/2 acre permaculture lots - we want folks to have edible landscapes and be able to live as self sufficiently as possible!
Well we are leaving to go walk the land.
It is Venus Transverse so we wanna go plant some little clear point quartz crystals to set the energy!
Love n Light!
